This man is George Smith, another amateur archaeologist, and a professional silversmith, born on March 26, 1840 in Chelsea, London. At night Smith taught himself in a small room enthralling the first publications about Assyria. At the age of 26, he wrote a number of small comments about the wedge-shaped letters in question. Yes i really do need all these books mug. These essays made by anonymous anonymous engravers attract much attention to the experts. A few years later he was appointed an assistant in the Egyptian-Assyrian section of the British Museum. When he died early, in 1876, at the age of 36, he published a dozen books and linked his name to meaningful discoveries.
